In “Captain America 4” not only do we get a new Cap actor in Anthony Mackie, Harrison Ford also joins the cast. Now there’s her first photo from the film.
The conclusion of Avengers 4: Endgame not only marked the incredible end of Iron Man, it was also the last time we saw Chris Evans in the role of Captain America. It was already shown at the time that his friend Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) would follow in his footsteps. What was uncertain at the time was confirmed in the episode of the Disney+ series “Falcon and the Winter Soldier”.
To properly introduce him to the role, the first major film is still awaited. He will follow next year with “Captain America 4: Brave New World” and will also bring old friends and interesting new additions with him.
Entertainment Weekly has now shared an exclusive photo in which we see Sam Wilson in his hooded costume alongside Harrison Ford in his new role. He will play the President of the United States Thaddeus Ross.

A previously unreleased scene with the duo was also screened at CinemaCon. Accordingly, Sam Wilson is tasked by Ross to reorganize the Avengers. However, the conversation is interrupted by a surprise attack by sleeping soldiers who target Ross.
According to earlier rumors, Ford will not only appear as president. According to this, he will transform into the so-called Red Hulk in the course of the film. We’ll find out if this happens when “Captain America: Brave New World” opens in theaters on February 12, 2025.
