electric sedan has been revealed ahead of its official presentation!

The Kia K4 will have its official world premiere next week during the New York Auto Show. At the same time, the Korean brand reveals a lot more, especially about the exterior design. The large, 100% electric sedan will adopt angular lines, including a unique signature of the lights.

Kia continues its transition to 100% electric. While the lineup already includes the EV6 and EV9, the brand is preparing to present its K4, a large sedan, for the first time. The latter will be eligible for its first public outing next week, during the New York Auto Show. But for now, Kia is giving us the opportunity to lay eyes on the car, as a preview.

Viewed from the side, there is no doubt: we are dealing with a sedan. The dimensions have not yet been presented, however we can get an idea of the total number. First we see the impressive rear end, and the brand usually sends the wheels to the 4 corners of the chassis in the case of electric cars. The K4 has more defined shoulders, and a raised beltline that then blends into the trunk edge. The lighting signature is unique, whether front or rear.

A more casual interior

On the version seen in the preview, the K4 offers khaki upholstery that covers the seats, door panels and steering wheel. If the large screen installed at the top of the dashboard, which brings together the digital instruments as well as the multimedia section, brings a modern touch, some other features stand out. Starting with the gearbox lever, very old school with its side trigger.

We still don’t know the details of the K4’s technical sheet, we just know that it will be electric. So we’ll have to wait a few more days to learn more. As a reminder, the Kia K4 will be officially unveiled at the New York Auto Show on March 27.
