GMC Terrain 2025: first image | Car news


The first image of the next generation 2025 GMC Terrain has been shared by the company. The prototype is expected later this year. We see the exterior of the SUV, including the headlight and the AT4 logo on the grille.

The Terrain joins GMC’s other refreshed and updated SUVs, including the 2024 Acadia and 2025 Yukon. They’ve already been the subject of photo sharing, and it’s the Terrain’s turn to be in the spotlight.

The image tells us that the next Theme will offer a fuller and sharper design than that of the outgoing model. We can also see around the new grille a glossy black trim that connects the headlights, and a small trapezoidal trim on the bumper.

As of today, we do not know much more officially about the location of the GMC 2025 and this third generation model. The same goes for the delivery date of the application, although we can assume that it will take place before the end of the year, perhaps in the summer. When a manufacturer starts publishing pictures like this, it usually means that the presentation of the model is not too far away.

Powertrain for the 2025 GMC Terrain?

Otherwise, the rumor is that the new Terrain will inherit the same engine as its cousin, the Chevrolet Equinox, which has been revised for the 2025 model year. This new version welcomes under its hood a 1.5-liter (175) 4-cylinder turbo engine. horses), and the two possible configurations are front-wheel drive (with a CVT) or all-wheel drive (with an eight-speed automatic transmission).
