The Buick Envision is getting a facelift on the Chinese side this summer and as usual there, pictures of the design have been released by the Chinese patent authorities.

In China, the model is officially called the Envision S. That version is the same as the one we deserve. So, we have an overview of the changes that will eventually be made to the model sold here.

It is Carscoops website that reports the news. No confirmation came from Buick’s side.

Regarding the image, we can see that the Envision 2024 carries the brand’s new style language, known as Pure Design. The latter has been seen on the concept as well as on the Electra E5, the first electric SUV the company will offer. And the difference is amazing with the current signature. We see the headlights are narrower and are positioned higher. The grille, on the other hand, is large and sits low on the surface.

In the back, there are some changes, but it is less marked than in the front. The headlight design has been simplified and you can recognize the new Buick logo, placed between the headlights. We also see the presence of borders between the upper and lower parts of the tailgate, which adds an interesting effect to the design.

On board, we should be entitled to some changes, but no pictures of the interior have been published; we’ll have to wait for Buick to share pictures for that. Mechanically, nothing should change, so a turbo 2.0-liter 4-cylinder is still expected under the hood.

Obviously, all of this remains to be confirmed, but it’s exciting to see a new Buick product signature. For the first time since the brand has been trying to restore its image, we can say that it is doing so with style and this new stylistic language.
