2024 Buick Encore GX 9/mo Cheaper Lease Than Envista

2024 Buick Encore GX $299/mo Cheaper Lease Than Envista

The Buick Envista joined the brand’s lineup for the 2024 model year as a new entry-level model, slotting in below the incumbent Encore GX. However, even though the Encore GX has a higher sticker price than the Envista, the GX is easier to rent. Here’s what you need to know about the 2024 Buick Encore GX lease plan for $299 per month.

At first glance, the Buick Encore GX may seem like a complicated value proposition. The Envista is a newer model with a cleaner interior, and perhaps most importantly, it carries a lower starting price. It’s worth noting that the coupe-like Envista loses a bit of headroom compared to the Encore GX, but it starts at just $23,495 compared to $26,895 for the GX. Unless you plan on transporting tall rear passengers frequently, the Envista seems like the best deal.

However, the pricey Encore GX carries a significant advantage when it comes to leasing. Buick is offering the GX with a special offer this month. Current Buick and GMC lessees can lease the 2024 Encore GX Preferred for just $299 per month over 24 months with zero down payment. Buick can make that attractive offer by placing a $2,250 lease trust allowance to fully eliminate the amount due at signing. The resulting $299 premium is a good deal even compared to the GX’s $26,895 MSRP.

Although Envista also features a rental trust offer, it does not benefit from cash rental trust allowances. The 2024 Envista Preferred is being offered to current Buick and GMC employers for just $179 per month over 24 months, but with an expected $4,229 at signing. The reasonable monthly cost comes to $355. That’s not a good deal in a vacuum, but it doesn’t seem worth it compared to the more expensive Encore GX.

The current 2024 Encore GX contract makes now a great time to lease one, assuming you qualify. This offer is available nationally until 30 April.
