If you had to choose one of these $60,000 cars, which one would you rather have? This “Would You Rather” brings together the stars of the song MustangThe Dark Horse, against GMC’s main off-road demon, the Canyon AT4X AEV Edition.

Given your choice of the 2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse or the 2024 GMC Canyon AT4X, which do you choose?

The Canyon towers over other midsize trucks, and the bottom of its windshield roughly matches the Mustang’s roof.

This kind of says it all: You can have racing prowess or extreme off-road ability.

Not surprisingly, Canyon offers the best rides.

Just as the AT4X is optimized for dirt, so is the Dark Horse for the track.

The interior of the Dark Horse is … dark.

Ford offers a six-speed manual in the Dark Horse, and it’s as fun as it looks.

We’re guessing that every Dark Horse owner will install an instrument panel to mimic a Fox-body Mustang and then ditch it altogether.

The Dark Horse also has a g-force meter. It may not hit all-time highs, though.

This converter heats up in the sun. Who cares?

In our 0-to-150-to-0 test, the Dark Horse outpaced the Corvette Z06 and Porsche 911 Turbo S.
