One of the most important evolutions in the panorama of Fiat cars concerns the next generation of Fiat Panda. scheduled for 2024, the renewal of this classic car will be characterized by its transition to electric mobility, following the tradition of previous generations in democratizing this type of mobility.
The new Fiat Panda will be based on STLA subplatform, which is part of the legacy of Stellantis, the automotive group of which Fiat is an integral part. This will enable a variety of operational options, including electric and internal combustion engines. Fiat may propose a crossover version of the Panda, thus strengthening its offering in the car market.
The core element of the new Panda’s strategy will be electrification, but a traditionally inspired version could also be considered, accompanied by a mild hybrid system to increase the efficiency of the internal combustion engines. The importance of the battery can be an important feature, taking inspiration from the technology already introduced in the concept car Centoventi, which offers a range from 100 to 400 kilometers.
