A resident of Storrs, Connecticut, won a six-figure payout from the state’s lottery after purchasing a Mega Millions ticket at a local store earlier this week.
The winner, who chose to remain anonymous, purchased the ticket at the Green Valley Wine & Spirits store located in the Storrs Shopping Center.
The ticket matched all five numbers, plus the Mega Ball number, resulting in the six-figure payout. The Mega Millions game has a minimum jackpot of $40 million, with the winning numbers drawn on Tuesdays and Fridays.
The store owner, Jane Doe, expressed excitement over the news of the latest jackpot winner.
