MUNICH – A few months after the launch of the i7 and the new generation 7 Series, BMW M is now adding the first high-performance electric variant of the Munich flagship. With 660 HP the BMW i7 M70 xDrive becomes the most powerful all-electric model in the Group’s overall portfolio, with sales expected in the second half of 2023. The new i7 M70 xDrive offers the perfect combination of mobility and electric performance . , offers a unique experience in the luxury segment. This premium model accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds, making it the fastest electric BMW. BMW eDrive technology The fifth-generation battery installed in the i7 has been developed to further improve power and efficiency, including high-voltage battery and charging technology. The BMW i7 M70 xDrive has an impressive energy density of a high-voltage battery that provides 101.7 kWh of usable energy. This gives a range of 488-560km and makes it particularly suitable for long-distance use. The combined charging unit has an advanced charging program that can extend the range up to 170 km in just ten minutes when stopped at a high-power charging station.
