The diesel engine has been the favorite choice of Poles for many years. Economical and powerful, it drove our cars and seemed to be the best choice. Today this has changed – the Volkswagen diesel scandal and its subsequent effects mean that diesels are slowly dying. However, they are still available, albeit in fewer and fewer models.

In the case of the Stellantis group, i.e. the Citroën and Peugeot brands, the diesel offer includes the 1.5 blueHDi engine with power ranging from 110 to 130 HP. Dacia and Renault are discontinuing the diesel, which is reflected in the model range – Dacia only has the Duster and those available only at dealerships, while Renault is left with two models, the Kangoo and the Mégane.
