Tesla has recently brought significant updates to its pricing policy for its applications Supercharger in Italy, launching a unique membership model, intended to make access to their fast charging network even easier. These changes, already effective, are aimed at all owners of Tesla cars and drivers of electric vehicles of other brands, with the aim of further encouraging sustainable mobility in the country.

In stark contrast to other companies, Tesla minimizes charging costs

For loyal customers Tesla, there will be no change: they will continue to benefit from the same profit levels as usual, automatically gaining member status. Conversely, there is a monthly fee discount for non-Tesla electric car users, who can now enjoy a Supercharger subscription for a monthly cost of 9.99 eurospreviously set at 12.99 euros.

The benefit of this subscription is access to lower rates than a pay-per-use model, providing a more economical solution for charging electric vehicles. Tesla has also introduced an annual subscription option for a price 100 eurosallow users save 16% compared to the monthly renewal option. This program represents a further step forward for the company in promoting the use of renewable energy and the adoption of electric vehicles.

However, Tesla’s policy allows for the possibility of charging without the need for registration, with rates that vary by location and times of use. It is a system designed to adapt to the different needs of all users, while promoting more flexibility in the use of the Supercharger.

The expansion of Supercharger accessibility for non-Tesla vehicles has been enhanced with the addition of new stations located in Aosta, Cuneo, Varazze and Occhiobello. This expansion marks the opening of more than 70% of the Tesla Supercharger network in Europe, which includes more than 14,000 charging stations, even for those who do not own company cars.
