A look back at the training session open to the public ahead of LOSC – Aston Villa

This Saturday, April 13, a few hours after the defeat in Birmingham, the LOSC players practiced in front of a section of their spectators at the Domaine de Luchin.

Unexpected and yet, back from Birmingham, LOSC and its players concluded the week with a practice open to the public. Under the northern sun, it was hot this Saturday, they put on a show in front of their supporters. The Mastiffs returned to the pitch at Eden Hazard’s stadium to cheers and heavy smoke from the smoke bombs. In addition to the public, the youth of Lille were there to witness these few steps, as were some family members of the technical staff or players (such as the partner of the defender Alexsandro for example). After the heat, they continued with small goal resistance (four from each side) before concluding with the last resistance. The players who started against Aston Villa then left the field while the rest of the squad remained as close as possible to the fans to sign autographs, give away their jerseys or take lots of pictures. A great moment to share, especially appreciated by Tiago Morais, a big smile on his lips, very happy to see the public again, but also the sun of Lille which he commented at length. Since his arrival, he had never had the opportunity to use it.

On the youth side, Adama Faïz, Haukur Haraldsson and Zita were present in the professional group, while the regular ones remained in the reserve. Ignacio Miramon and Edon Zhegrova (see below) are two notable absences.
