In the accident that happened on Friday morning (May 12) on Neckargemünder Straße (K4200) between Rainbach and Dilsberg (Rhine-Neckar district) a motorcyclist was injured in a crash – his machine caught fire and burned to the ground.

A biker crashes on the K4200 near Dilsberg – the motorcycle burst into flames
The cyclist was on the district road around 7:45 in the afternoon when he lost control of his motorcycle for reasons that have yet to be explained and eventually fell. Seconds later, the two-wheeler suddenly caught fire and burst into flames.
Fortunately, the motorcyclist suffered only minor injuries in the fall and received treatment from emergency services. No information can be given about the exact structure of the damage at the moment, as the relevant police headquarters in Mannheim announced.

The road was closed for a short time while firefighters put out the fire. After rescue and cleaning work, the road was reopened to traffic at 8:20 am.
