Benetton Ford B192 F1 van Michael Schumacher coming to TABAC CLASSIC GP SEPTEMBER 13-15, 2024 at TT CIRCUIT ASSEN! ‘The Force F1 Legends’ brings famous F1 cars to the ‘Cathedral of Speed’! During the TABAC Classic GP, September 13 to 15 at the TT Circuit Assen in Drenthe, ‘The Force F1 Legends’ will be used alongside several famous Formula 1 cars. The ‘Cathedral of Speed’, as the Assen TT circuit is known internationally, is an addition to the latest in a list of iconic motor and motorcycle venues where The Force takes action, such as Imola, Silverstone, Goodwood and Brands Hatch.

Based in the UK, ‘The Force’ stands for ‘Formula 1 Historic Car Participants in the European Championship’. The Formula 1 car owners association from 1980 onwards was founded by Lorina and David McLaughlin As a driver, Lorina raced for Ford in his youth against future F1 stars such as James Hunt and Alan Jones. After achieving several successes in club racing, Lorina and her husband David decided to focus on collecting and preserving the famous European-made Formula 1 cars. Force organizes rallies and events around the world with famous cars such as James Hunt’s championship-winning McLaren M23 and the Benetton B192 in which Michael Schumacher won his first race.
