The Mitsubishi ASX, closely related to the Renault Captur, is the focus of a major spring campaign. Customers can now start spring with a much-improved SUV at a discounted price.

In the basic version, the entry-level petrol engine with 91 turbo hp is already available for EUR 19,900, thanks to a discount of EUR 4,700, which is valid until March 31, 2024. For all other ASX equipment lines there is a discount of EUR 2,000 up to EUR 4,500 until June 30, 2024, depending on selected equipment.

It is not yet clear how these deductions will affect the differences: the small hybrid 1.3 with 140 hp has so far cost 26,390 euros, the full hybrid at least 28,990 euros. 34,890 euros should currently be invested in the plug-in combination. We will continue to be with you…

Overall good: With Mitsubishi, the customer receives a comprehensive 5-year vehicle warranty (up to 100,000 km), which can be extended for three more years, as well as an 8-year warranty on the drive battery (up to 160,000 km). , only full hybrid and plug-in hybrid).

And how is the ASX performing? Ours Vollhybrid Review gave the following impressions: “It looks very mature … to bring everything to a short, summary adjective. The big Hobbyhorse ASX is calm in the interior. It sits quite easily on the road, there is nothing loud or noisy.

The chassis and steering aren’t too responsive (no matter what driving mode you’re in), but they still don’t get spongy or imprecise. This could also be because these components on our full hybrid test car only have to handle a low curb weight of around 1.3 tonnes.

Inconsistencies in software-based communication in a powertrain are extremely rare. We are also satisfied when we look at the Mitsubishi on-board computer. According to electronic measurements, only 5.6 liters of gasoline flow through the combustion chambers. WLTP consumption of 4.8 l/100km is stated. For comparison: In the short circuit and the compact hybrid model, 155 hp with a displacement of 1.3 liters spread over four cylinders consumes 6.2 liters.”
