An old Chevrolet was converted into an original beach station wagon for fans to use. The body of the car is almost entirely made of wood.
In the USA, a 1932 Chevrolet was sold at the Barrett-Jackson auction. As much as $375,000 was paid for the car – just like a new Ferrari 296. About that information on the auction house’s website.

The high price is due to the fact that the one-of-a-kind Chevrolet Woodie Custom Wagon rod, nicknamed Honolulu Lulu, left the hammer.

The name of the car indicates that it was created in Honolulu (Hawaii Islands). The large Chevrolet Series BA Confederate was converted into the original beach car for cruisers.

The 1932 Chevrolet received a solid wooden body in the Woodie style (such station wagons were produced in the United States in the 40s). A hatch with mountings for carrying a surfboard appeared on the roof.

The bare wood was left in the interior decoration. Inside, only the front seats are installed (they are modern and covered in waterproof fabric), and the back is equipped with a large trunk and a large chest.

The car is equipped with a 5.0-liter V8
