A wrong-way driver flees the A2 after an accident

After the accident, the driver suddenly turned his VW car and ran in the right direction from the accident site. The witness informed the police and provided the fugitive’s license plate number and the driver’s details.

Herford police officers drove to the address of the owner of the read license plate and found a damaged VW Golf there. A 42-year-old drunkard, whose description of the driver was used, was found. At Herford police station, a blood sample was taken from 42-year-old Vlothoer and his driver’s license was obtained.
