Fatal accident on the Palermo-Agrigento road: an 87-year-old woman dies. A fatal road accident occurred on the Palermo-Agrigento state road number 121, between the towns of Bolognetta and Misilmeri. Three vehicles involved: two cars, an Opel Corsa and a Peugeot 5008, and a Daily Iveco van.

The worst was an 87-year-old woman, Giuseppina Costanza, a resident of Campofelice di Fitalia, who was traveling in an Opel Corsa with her 44-year-old son. The woman was killed on impact. The son, who was injured, was transported by helicopter to the Civic Hospital of Palermo. Another driver, a 21-year-old from Mezzojuso, was taken by ambulance to the hospital. The driver of the car was not injured.

The Carabinieri intervened at the scene of the accident, which took place at km 239.500, to investigate the case and reconstruct the exact dynamics of the accident.
