Jacquemus clothing

Despite celebrating, everyone made sure they were clean for the big day itself on Sunday. The two even played a game of tennis. Amber chose a Jacquemus dress from the designer’s Papier collection, which featured modern straps and raw edges. “I didn’t know what kind of dress I wanted during my search, but I knew a traditional bridal boutique wouldn’t be my style. I thought the perfect dress would come to me and it did. It was the last in her size. Net-a-Porter and it fits perfectly. Her Ornella Gioè look was very natural, while her friend, Izzy Mulder, put her hair in a simple chic bun. Additionally, Eoin wore a tuxedo and boots from Maison Margiela.

The ceremony took place in the gardens of Villa Tasca, with 20 hectares of orange trees and centuries-old trees. When guests arrived, they were greeted by a four-piece quartet with vermouth spritzes and traditional Sicilian granitas, while opera singers performed. The couple’s close friend, Jon McMillan, performed the ceremony. “I definitely cried a lot,” says Amber. “The time of our mothers’ blessings, music and Eoin’s vows. So basically all the time. But I was glad I lifted myself up when I said my vows.â

Reception including tattoos

After the ceremony, guests gathered in the winter garden of Villa Tasca for champagne. The family dinner was held in the villa’s beautiful Piano Nobile, decorated with a pastoral scene by Cotardi, which you will immediately recognize from the opening credits. White Lotus. Her dress for the reception was from Paris Georgia, inspired by their wedding venue. “The figure was beautiful and graceful, it reminded me of a Victorian marble statue. The couple’s first dance was over Ocean of Love, by Kathleen. “We were lucky to have such a great group of musicians who played in turns. There was also a local artist, Pandemonium Tattoo, who drew flash tattoos that we helped design,” says Amber. “I think maybe thirty of our eighty guests got tattoos. I have the Sicilian Trinacria tattooed on my arm.â€

Justin’s day

Unfortunately, Justin, the reason they met, died before seeing his two friends get married. “There was something magical about Justin and I’m sure we were attracted to that night at Hi-Fi,” Amber shares. “We had a lovely group dinner at Villa Igiea the evening after the wedding ceremony. This was for the underprivileged still in town, along with a few of our new friends from Palermo. The evening was a special treat, even after What a wonderful weekend. I think we felt a little bit of his magic then. The day after our wedding will forever be “Justin Day.”
