Alfa Romeo thanks to Tonale in the top eight of the Spanish high market – March 2024

Alfa Romeo closes March 2024 rising to eighth place in the top market with 583 registrations. This is 33% more than the same month last year. These results were achieved mainly thanks to Tonalwhich included 421 registrations, which is an increase of 71.8% compared to March 2023.

Electrification is becoming increasingly important to the brand’s commercial success, as evidenced by the Alfa Romeo Tonale Plug-In Hybrid Q4, the top hybrid version of the sports SUV, which accounted for more than a third of its registrations in March. It is also thanks to this version that the brand achieved this good result in the Spanish market.

Alfa Romeo is moving forward in the main Spanish market. In March, the Italian brand moved up to eighth place in the list with 583 registrations, which translates into a market share of 3.4% and an increase of 33% compared to the same month last year.

This positive force is also reflected in the overall data for the first quarter of 2024, in which Alfa Romeo is in the 9th position of the top market with 1,006 vehicles registered, 18% more than in the same period of 2023, representing a penetration of 2.2%.

It cannot be denied that this success has been largely achieved thanks to the example of Tonale, which is already responsible for almost three quarters of product registrations in Spain, with 421 registrations in March, which is 71.8% more than the same month last year.

The Italian company’s compact sports SUV is also at the forefront of its electrification strategy. Therefore, the success of the all-wheel drive Plug-In Hybrid version of the Q4 is significant. This superior version in terms of technology and performance accounted for 34.2% of Alfa Romeo Tonale registrations in March.
