Good news is coming Jeep from Brasil. The American automaker, which is part of the Stellantis group, was the brand that recorded the largest growth in market share in the SUV segment in the first quarter of 2024. The market share was 14.3 percent and in the first three months of 2024 more than 25 thousand units were sold. This represented a growth of 1.4 percent compared to the last quarter of last year.

If, however, we consider the month of March that ended a few days ago, the American brand recorded a share of 13.7 percent in the SUV segment with 8,907 units registered, and a market share of 5.1 percent of the total market. The absolute leader among mid-size SUVs, Jeep Compass confirms the first position in the list for the current month and year. In March, 3,971 units were sold, with a share of 29.9 percent among medium SUVs, taking the first place on the platform in the category. In the first three months of 2024, Compass already has 11,600 units sold and a market share of 33% in its category, being the best-selling model in the country since the beginning of the year.

In the month of March Jeep Renegade it sold 3,881 units, with a market share of 8.8 percent. Year to date, Renegade has followed the brand and repeated the same task in the first quarter of 2024, being the model that grew more in the B-SUV market compared to the last three months of last year. In the first quarter, more than 10.4 thousand units were registered, with a share of 8.9 percent, an increase of 2.1 percent compared to the previous period.

Another highlight of the brand was the Commander. The model registered more than 3,200 vehicles in the first quarter of the year and gained 14.0% of the major share of the SUV market. In March, Commander sold more than a thousand units, gaining a 14.5% share of the unit.
