• AUTO BILD honors Alfa Romeo as number 1 in the categories “Mid-size design” and “Mid-size SUV design” in the “Best product in all classes” competition.

• Alfa Romeo Giulia, Alfa Romeo Tonale and Alfa Romeo Stelvio inspire German car fans.

• Around 42,000 readers judged 37 brands in 14 competition categories.

Rüsselsheim, April 2023 – One-two for Alfa Romeo in the “Best Business in All Classes” competition: The specialist magazine AUTO BILD named the Alfa Romeo model the winner in the categories “Mid-size” and “Mid-size SUV “[1]. The Italian brand is once again one of the winners of the annual survey, where the reasons for purchasing decisions are asked. About 42,000 readers of AUTO BILD, the magazine’s subsidiary newspapers and its online edition participated in the current survey. There were a total of 37 brands in 14 categories to choose from.

“Our Alfa Romeo Giulia sedan and our two SUVs, Alfa Romeo Tonale and Alfa Romeo Stelvio, cater to the design tastes of German car fans. This is demonstrated by repeated wins in the design categories in the AUTO BILD ‘Best product in all classes’ competition. These awards are a great tribute to the designers of Centro Stile Alfa Romeo who designed all three models. The unmistakable design of Alfa Romeo also has a big contribution to the fact that our brand was able to more than double the number of registrations in Germany in the first quarter of 2023 compared to the previous year.[2].“

Alfa Romeo designs regularly win awards in prestigious international competitions. In 2022 and 2021 Alfa Romeo was already one of the winners in “Best products in all classes”. Alfa Romeo Giulia wins “Red Dot” award[3] and “Compasso d’Oro”[4]. The new Alfa Romeo Tonale, the first electric car model, and the Alfa Romeo Stelvio came out on top in the autonis design competition.[5] trade magazine “auto, motor und sport”. Alfa Romeo Stelvio also received the “Car Design Award” in the UK[6] and the Readers’ Choice Creative Award[7] of AUTO EXPRESS magazine.
