More than a week ago, Benzema received the statue of the best footballer in the world in the season 21/22 and, at the age of less than 35 years, he is the oldest winner of this award since 1956 and Stanley Mathews, who in 1956 became winner won the first Ballon d’Or award at the age of 41.
Huge collection of Karim Benzema cars
The Frenchman regularly posts pictures of his cars on Instagram. The most expensive of them is the Bugatti Chiron, which Benzema gave himself as a gift after winning the Champions League in 2018.where he scored one of the most memorable goals in the history of the finals of the tournament, surprising the Liverpool player, Loris Karius, by throwing the ball out. Back in the car, Chiron is a 1500-horse monster that can reach speeds of up to 420 km / h. It can certainly be transferred quite effectively from the lamp.
The Chiron is not the only Bugatti in the Frenchman’s collection, because in his garage there is also a Veyron in the Pur Sang version. Some of his cars are very rare models, such as the Mercedes SLR Stirling Moss. Other sports “toys” of the striker are Lamborghini Aventador and Ferrari 458 Spider.
The cars mentioned above, while beautiful and very fast, are not very practical when it comes to everyday use. However, Benzema also took care of this, hence the presence of cars like Mercedes G 65 AMG or two Rolls-Royces, Wraith and Cullinan.
Until the end of last season, the French could also rely on, let’s call it simply, official cars. All thanks to Real Madrid’s partnership with the Audi brand, thanks to which he regularly traveled to training or matches with RS6 or Q5 models. In June this year, however, the partnership was terminated after 19 years.
The oldest car in Benzema’s collection is an Audi RS4 from 2006, which he loves, as he himself said. His collection, on the other hand, no longer includes the BMW M6, a car he built for himself at the age of 18 after signing his first professional contract with Olympique Lyonnais. So all that remains is to wait which car will hit the rally to celebrate winning the Ballon d’Or.
