Adding to Skoda in terms of electricity. In the next four years, the brand will spend more than five billion euros to develop its electric transition. In 2022, the manufacturer had mentioned the launch of three new SUVs, which will be added to the Enyaq two. During a press conference held at the end of April 2023, he explained the outline of these projects and added a new, large station wagon. By redesigning Enyaq, that makes six launches planned by 2026!

In the electric compact market, Skoda will unsurprisingly focus on a more supportive SUV silhouette. The model is advertised as a replacement for the Karoq. Hence its name, now official: Elroq, a combination of electricity and Karoq. The Elroq will measure about 4.50 meters in length, about fifteen centimeters less than the Enyaq. The brand promises to be spacious and practical, ideal for family use. The base will again be MEB. Changes, however, will be available at the model level. This car should launch Skoda’s new “Modern Solid” design in the series, heralded by the Vision 7S concept. For example, there is a T-shaped light signature on the front and rear.

2025 – Skoda Epic

As a reminder, Seat, or rather Cupra now, has been entrusted with overseeing the development of the group’s new electric city car project, shared by Volkswagen and Skoda. The latter has chosen a small SUV silhouette. On the occasion of its 2024 annual press conference, Skoda showed a preview of this car concept. He also made his name official: Epiq.

The Epiq is 4.10 meters long and already promises a large trunk of 490 liters. The platform is a reworked MEB, with the engine at the front. Skoda has announced a range of over 400 kilometers and a starting price of around €25,000. Production will take place at Seat in Spain.

2025 – Enyaq reformed

The first Skoda electric model appeared in 2020, then it was available as a Coupé in 2022. Skoda has confirmed that these two Enyaqs will be revised in 2025. The facelift promises to be extensive, to include in the design of these new SUVs. aesthetic features introduced by the Vision 7S concept. The method will be refined, for example with the maximum charge increased to 200 kW.

2026 – big break

It’s a chef’s surprise. While Skoda only announced electric SUVs, it confirmed its intention to offer a large, stylish station wagon. This will measure approximately 4.70 meters in length, so it will be the same as the Octavia Combi. We see that the company has no intention of focusing on an electric sedan. The station wagon will appeal to families and businesses.

2026 – Grand SUV

Skoda already has an electric family SUV in its range, the Enyaq. But the Czech company is preparing another one, preceded by the Vision 7S concept. The main difference, rather than style? The fact that this model can accommodate 7 people, with a third row of seats. So this model will be more interesting, it will have a height of about 4.90 meters. The model also had a new battery, 89 kWh, promising a range of more than 600 km and a maximum charging power of 200 kW.
