The Elevated Reflection will go on sale this summer with new styling, an updated interior, and additional standard equipment.

  • Buick has unveiled the facelifted Envision, which uses the company’s latest design language.
  • This model has a significantly improved cabin and a new 30-inch display.
  • The 2024 Buick Vision goes on sale this summer with prices starting at $37,295.

Buick’s transformation continues as the brand introduces the 2024 Envision. Previewed last summer, the raised crossover embodies a new design philosophy while also placing more emphasis on technology.

The changes are immediately noticeable as the model has split headlight units and a revised grille that is now lower and wider. They are joined by new bumpers, a restyled hood, and Buick’s modern three-shield logo.

The rear is more revolutionary as it wears taillights and a slightly revised bumper. Customers will also get an updated color palette that includes Calypso Blue Metallic and Smokey Amethyst Metallic.

The changes are more than just under the skin as the 2024 Envision embraces a streamlined lineup that now features Preferred, ST and Avenir trims. This is a slight departure from last year’s model where the mid-level trim was called the Essence and the ST package was an option.

Speaking of the ST trim, it has a unique grille, black accents, and 20-inch wheels with a Carbon Flash Metallic finish. Buyers will also get a unique flat-bottom steering wheel.

Modern, Upscale Interiors

Some of the biggest changes occur in the cabin, which has been completely redesigned and now looks worthy of a Buick flagship. The old analog gauges and infotainment system have been consigned to the history books in favor of a class-leading 30-inch widescreen.

Buick says it’s customizable and owners will be able to “prioritize their preferred views, switch between multiple widgets such as navigation, vehicle information, audio entertainment and more.” The display also has a Google component, meaning access to Google Assistant, Google Maps and the Google Play store.

In addition to the larger display, the Envision has higher-quality switchgear, a revised dashboard, and an improved center console with a new rotary controller. The shifter has also been moved from the console to the steering column.

Elsewhere, the model gets a new leather-wrapped steering wheel, additional metallic accents, and updated upholstery that’s available in a variety of bold colors. Specifically, customers will be able to order a Garnet interior with Ebony accents or a Cool Gray interior with Slate Blue accents.

Completing the highlights are upgraded front and rear seats that have been designed to provide a “stylish yet comfortable experience.” The combo also comes better equipped as buyers will get a standard head-up display, multi-color lighting, and a nine-speaker Bose audio system.

The Envision now comes standard with flexible flight controls. Drivers will also get Blind Spot Assist, Automatic Intersection Emergency Correction, and Forward Pedestrian and Cyclist Alert. They are paired with IntelliBeam headlights, Rear Traffic Braking, and an HD Surround Vision system.

When Buick first announced the 2024 Envision, they made a big fuss about the availability of Super Cruise. However, a semi-autonomous driving system will not be released after all and that is a disappointing development.

Average All-Wheel Drive and a High Starting Price of $37,295

The familiar 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo engine sits under the hood, where it produces 228 hp (170 kW / 231 PS) and 258 lb-ft (349 Nm) of torque. It’s mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission and a new standard all-wheel drive system.

The 2024 Buick Vision is expected to arrive at US dealerships this summer and prices will start at $37,295 including destination. That’s a big gain from $34,745 but it’s important to note the old all-wheel drive variant was more expensive at $38,345.

Aside from the entry-level model, the Envision ST will start at $39,795. The top-of-the-line Avenir is more expensive as it carries a base price of $48,395.
