Initially, the Opel Frontera was an all-terrain vehicle, and it became an SUV in Stellantis


Stellantis transforms its Opel Frontera off-road model into an urban SUV. The carmaker has kept the logo name of its old 4×4 to give it a new model more adapted to the current trends in the car market. This new urban SUV will be offered on the same basis as the C3 Aircross, which will enable its electrification.

Brand Opel from Stellantis has revealed the first images of the new Opel Frontera. Unlike its predecessor which was an off-road 4×4, the new Frontera is an urban SUV that shares the same platform as C3 Aircross. From its launch, this model will be available in a 100% battery electric version, then in versions with 48-volt hybrid technology.

Logo Blitz, first edition

The new Opel Blitz logo debuts on the Opel Frontera production model, which displays the logo proudly in the center of the brand’s front fascia,Opel visor. The black “Vizor” gives the front of the Frontera a unique identity by seamlessly integrating the Eco LED headlights and automatic high beam with the central Opel logo. This design is emphasized by the trapezoidal opening intended for cooling, thus enhancing the feeling of solidity and durability of the vehicle.
