Aston Martin rounds off the DBS with a special edition 770 Ultimate
Aston Martin has been building its V12 flagship DBS for nearly four years. Now its end is announced.
Aston Martin marked the end of the DBS Superleggera series launched in 2019 with the “770 Ultimate” version, limited to 499 units. The British have increased the power of the 5.2-liter V12 from 533 kW/725 hp to 566 kW/770 hp. In combination with an eight-speed automatic, a maximum of 340 km / h should be possible.
Ultimate was also overhauled in detail. The horseshoe-shaped hood is said to improve engine cooling, while a new splitter provides more downforce to the front axle. These measures include shorter shift times, body stabilization and adjustment of control levers.
The equipment also includes carbon-ceramic brakes with discs measuring 41 cm at the front and 36 cm at the rear, along with 21-inch wheels. Inside there are sports seats covered in leather and Alcantara, decorative stitching and an embossed Ultimate badge. laser.
Aston Martin will build 300 copies and 199 convertibles of the DBS 770 Ultimate. It will be released from summer. The collector’s items, whose cost is equal to 357,000 or 383,000 euros, have already been sold.
