Max Verstappen has been frequently linked with an exit in recent weeks Red Bull Racing. Verstappen was joined by Mercedes, but also with Aston Martin. The British racing team will ride with Honda engines, but Verstappen still doesn’t know if he sees himself driving for this team.

Verstappen has never made it a secret that he has a good relationship with Honda. The Japanese supplied the engines to Red Bull until 2021. Now they are still responsible for the power sources, but the engines have a different name. The partnership will end in 2025 as Honda will partner with Aston Martin. In recent weeks there has been a lot of talk about Verstappen leaving Red Bull and Aston Martin was seen as a possibility.

In Japan, Verstappen faced Aston Martin rumors for the first time. During a press conference on Thursday, he was asked if he would like to rejoin Honda at Aston Martin. Verstappen did not want to say much about it: “I don’t know. We don’t have to talk about 2026, right? I mean, I have a contract with Red Bull until 2028.
