Fortunately, the underpinnings of the Caterham CSR 200 have remained intact

What started out as the Caterham CSR 200, is now one of the most challenging road racers on the market. The sports car was developed in Switzerland in 2013 by the Helvetic Motor Company, with a completely new bodywork made of GRP and carbon fiber.

The exterior was reportedly penned by a former Sauber F1 designer. Dubbed the CSR 200 GT, the stunning looking Caterham is currently listed for sale on the used car market, estimated to sell for between €40,000-50,000 ($43,400-54,300).

While the donor car came with open wheels, half doors, and no roof, the CSR 200 GT has a fully enclosed body with large butterfly doors. The doors open along with the roof hatches, allowing easy access to the two-seat cabin.

The hard-to-grind front end features a unique grille cover and aerodynamic extensions for the round LED headlights. A wide fender flares out from the bodywork covering the Caterham wheels and suspension components. On the other hand, the tail is characterized by a rotating rear window, a flat rear deck, LED headlights, and dual exhaust pipes.

The interior also features several unique touches, including a redesigned dashboard, black Alcantara upholstery, relocated gauges, aircraft-style toggle switches, and running belts.

According to the listing, the car shows 9,536 kilometers (5,925 miles) on the odometer, has never been driven on a track, and was recently serviced.
