Two Scherer Sport-Audi pillars; Indy Dontje on the road at the Nurburgring-Nordschleife with Lionspeed-Porsche

Of ADAC 24 Hours Nürburgring Qualifying will celebrate a small anniversary in 2024: the big preparation for the ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring will take place in 13 and 14 April place for the tenth time. In 2020, the event fell victim to the corona pandemic, otherwise the milestone would have already been celebrated in 2023. Time to qualify Race 1 on Saturday, starts at 5:30pm, Scherer Sport PHX secured the front row with #16 (Stippler / Mies / Feller) and #15 (Vervisch / Haase / Marschall). Falken-Porsche #44 (Heinemann / Müller / Menzel / Ragginger) and Glickenhaus Racing’s SCG004c #706 (Mutsch / Mailleux / Arnold / Ledogar) share row 2. The best non-GT3 in 25th place was Black Falcon Porsche #103, which Kaya/Piana/Stursberg competes against in PETN (Cup 2).

A special Dutch touch is the participation of Indy Dontje. He can call himself an SP9 Pro-Am winner after winning the class last year with WTM and Rinaldi Racing. The Dutchman made a strong start to his 2024 season, taking class wins in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar GTD category with Winward Racing at the Rolex 24 at Daytona and the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring. Dontje shares the Lionspeed GP Porsche with Patric Niederhauser, who will make his first appearance at Nürburgring 24. He joins Antares Au and Patrick Kolb in the #24 Porsche 911 GT3 R for the 52nd running of the Eifel endurance classic.
