Automobili Lamborghini and Babolat come together for a unique racket

Automobili Lamborghini also arrives in the padel world. The famous car manufacturer from Sant’Agata Bolognese (BO) has announced in recent days collaboration with Babolat, a company of great importance in racket sports. The first result of this collaboration is Brand new unisex racket (called BL001), which was presented a few days ago during the Lamborghini Arena at the Imola racetrack, in front of Éric Babolat, CEO of Babolat, Stephan Winkelmann, President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, and some Babolat players, including the main face of Babolat padel, Juan Lebron.

The new shovel, which was created after a great team effort of about six months between the technical teams of Babolat and Automobili Lamborghini, It benefits from the French company’s expertise in racquet technology and sports performance at the same time, the experience of the Emilian car manufacturer in the production processes and the use of carbon fibers. A racket will be made for one a very limited series of only 50 examples and will be available in five different colors: auge yellow, viper green, livery orange, pasifae purple, gea green.

The racket benefits from Babolat’s extensive expertise in racket and gaming technology and, at the same time, Automobili Lamborghini’s experience in manufacturing processes and in the use of carbon fiber.

Going into specifics, this new blade is designed using a single solid side frame, which acts as a cockpit allowing full control. Model BL001, designed with this very rigid monocoque side chassis, improves the deformation of the impact area. Furthermore, the monocoque frame, which extends into the grip, allows the hand to be in direct contact with the frame, guaranteeing full control of the racket with complete comfort and at the same time providing exceptional power and speed of the ball. Like super strong threads, The materials used for this shovel come directly from those used in high-end sports cars.

These two new ploughs, which will benefit from the many technologies and carbon fibers used in the BL001, will be prepared by 2025 at Babolat’s Padel Studio near Barcelona (Spain) and then both will be available to a wider audience.
