Bad hit of a 14-year-old girl on the pedestrian crossing in Szprotawa. The criminal is a 78-year-old driver. Watch the bloody video!

On Saturday, May 6, around 14:30 on Kościuszko Street in Szprotawa, a 14-year-old girl was hit by a 78-year-old driver of a Mazda passenger car. A medical rescue team and police patrols were dispatched to the site.

Our editorial office received a recording from a surveillance camera, which captured the moment of the accident. The video shows how a 14-year-old child wants to cross the road after a pedestrian crossing. The girl looks first to the left and then to the right.

The driver stopped on the right, unfortunately the 14-year-old decided to enter the road directly under the car coming from the left. There have been serious hit-and-runs. The girl fell a few meters from the belts, while the Mazda stopped several meters away.

– A 14-year-old boy was taken to hospital due to his injuries – says Sgt. employees. Arkadiusz Szlachetko, Information Officer of the District Headquarters Police in Żagań.

Police officers are at the scene of the accident. Officials determined the exact cause and circumstances of the incident.
