DS 7 Crossback in service after 51,000 km. We have one thing to exchange

Our DS 7 Crossback, with a 180 HP petrol engine and 8-speed EAT8 automatic transmission, was serviced. The goal was to assess the condition of the car and see how it has withstood heavy use. We have 51,000 kilometers on the odometer. It turned out that one thing would need to be changed.

The DS 7 Crossback came to our editorial office for a long-distance test in July 2021. So it’s been 2 years since we started driving it. Average fuel consumption since the start (distributor measurement) is currently 7.6 liters per 100 km, with more than 51,000 km recorded on the odometer.

Today our DS 7 Crossback underwent a thorough inspection to determine the wear and tear of the consumables and check it. The interior looks like new, there were no problems with the car from the beginning, we carry out inspections – according to the manufacturer’s recommendations – every 20,000 kilometers.

We have one thing that needs to be replaced in the unknown future – these are the windshield wipers. They don’t cause any problems yet, but according to the website, you can slowly start thinking about installing new ones. Other than that, the car is in near factory condition. During the entire operation, we had one service related to sealing the rear lights – the manufacturer, of course, does it for free. And that’s it.

Flying, driving and enjoying the comfort, good design and high-quality equipment in the interior – this can conclude our visit to the service center.
