Bentley Continental GTC, a convertible version of the GT model, appeared in the British version of the brand in 2005. It was one of the results of its takeover by the Volkswagen Group and used German technology – the first generation shared the floor and close relationships. Volkswagen Phaeton. Continental’s current third-generation GTC is technologically closer to Porsche’s Panamera than to VW.

The two-door convertible has a length of 485 cm, a width of 196 cm and a height of 139 cm. The wheelbase is about 295 cm. Bentley Continental GTC weighs more than 2.4 tons. The luxury car has an elegant, yet sporty silhouette. The soft fabric roof folds automatically in 18 seconds. This can also be done while driving at speeds of up to 50 km/h.

Where does Mulliner’s “extra” exclusivity manifest itself in the Continental GTC design? This is the gold color of the previously mentioned Antelope, a large air intake grille designed to resemble a double diamond pattern, and not – as one of my colleagues said – a rabbit net. There are also 22-inch rims available only to order from Mulliner with satin-finish silver mirror caps.

The real “festival of wishes” takes place inside. The customization of the Continental GTC in the Mulliner studio includes 88 new veneer patterns and eight three-color combinations. And even what looks like an ordinary Piano Black is first wood.

In turn, the characteristic structure of the leather upholstery has many pieces of 712 threads in each “diamond”. In total, there are 400,000 seats inside the GTC Mulliner. fibers. The Mulliner logo can be found on the dashboard and headliner, where it is hand-embroidered.

The diamond motif can be found not only on the upholstery, but also on the cool metal elements of the center console, the digital clock faces, the classic analog clock and the speakers of the Naim sound system.

Six liters and 12 cylinders in the current W12 engine provides 900 Nm of maximum torque in the range – from 1,500 to 6,000 rpm. Bentley Continental GTC leaves everything behind, at speed, but does not “break” aggressively. You can feel the energy connected to the familiar character.

This is a perfect car for leisurely driving on boulevards and scenic routes. But when you use Sport Mode and press the accelerator hard, it knows exactly what to do. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h is only 3.7 seconds. Top speed can reach 335 km / h.

In the city, Bentley Continental GTC Mulliner W12 consumes 15-20 l/100 km in the city. On roads outside the city, the result drops to 11-13 l/100 km. On the highway, depending on the speed and driving style, this value is comparable to that of the city. A 90 liter petrol tank allows you to cover about 600 km in a combined cycle.

The tested Bentley Continental GTC Mulliner was valued at PLN 305,000. 210.08 euros without additional options that cost another 43,000. 265 euros. The total is 348 thousand. EUR 475.08, which, including taxes and customs duties, equals approximately PLN 2 million.
