BMW iX1 vs Volvo C40 Recharge: Specs, range and price comparison

Indian elegant EV space has witnessed the launch of two new versions this month, first in the form of Recharging the Volvo C40 coupe e-SUV, and now BMW iX1 – the cheapest electric car of the Bavarian brand in India. With the same price tag, the two luxury EVs will certainly give each other competition.

Battery and electric motor tests
The BMW iX1 has a 66.4 kWh battery that provides a range of 440 kilometers per charge according to the WLTP test cycle. The Electric SUV gets two electric motors for AWD, producing 309 hp and 494 Nm, helping to run from 0 to 100 km / h in 5.6 seconds.

The Volvo C40 Recharge gets a large 78 kWh battery that offers a range of 530 kilometers (WLTP). The Volvo coupe SUV also gets a dual-electric motor setup with AWD, with a power output of 402 hp and a peak rating of 660 Nm. Volvo EV can run from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.7 seconds.

Price
The BMW iX1 is available in one fully loaded xDrive30 variant in India, priced at Rs 66.90 lakh. The Volvo C40 Recharge is also being offered in just one variant namely the E80, priced at Rs 61.25 lakh (both prices, ex-showroom) as part of an introductory offer.
