Our 5 favorite details of the 2024 Alfa Romeo Junior (ex-Milano)

A week ago, Alfa Romeo unveiled its new Milano in the Lombard capital. The show followed by many reactions on social networks then, on April 15, for the name change. Milano actually became Junior, following a disagreement with the Italian government. A difficult birth that should not hide the many characteristics of the new little Alfa. Therefore, we have highlighted five details that surprised us the most when we were able to discover the model during its official presentation.

1. Two grills for the price of one

Alfa Romeo Junior will be able to receive two different grilles. The first, classic, has a grid reinforced with two Alfa Romeo words written in a vintage font that reflects the brand’s golden age. The second, more modern, has a more open grille than the first, topped by a mask with the manufacturer’s logo cut out. In both cases, the grille retains its triangular shape beloved by Alfa Romeo.

2. Responsiveness of Alfa Giulia TZ

For the design of the trunk, Alfa Romeo designers chose a The Chopped Tail which refers to the legendary Giulia TZ of the 1960s. This reduced tail is a stylistic feature that was also found on other models such as the Spider Duetto or the Spider Veloce. A special feature that gives a certain charisma to the model and that allows it to be distinguished from its cousins, Peugeot 2008 and Jeep Avenger.

3. Dial the retranslated

Alfa Romeo forces, Jr. takes the famous rims TV which activates old calls. The type of rim that the manufacturer has used for decades and that no competitor has dared to copy! For the Jr., the formula is still updated with three or four openings that also recall the brand’s favorite clove.

4. Seats designed for competition

Inside, the Junior can optionally receive two front seats designed by Sabelt, an Italian specialist in bucket seats since the 1970s. If Sabelt started its activities with the production of seat belts (Sabelt comes from elsewhere upparty belt), the company later turned to the design of harnesses and seats for the racing industry, to the point of becoming one of the leaders in this field.

5. The spitting snake

Another aspect: a Biscion the light (a snake with a dragon’s head, the symbol of the city of Milan and the logo of the manufacturer Alfa Romeo) hides between the two air vents placed at the ends of the dashboard. Particularly interesting details, especially when the color of the reptile changes according to the light atmosphere selected in the passenger compartment.
