In July 2024, Pappas Steiermark will start sales and service for the Kia brand at its headquarters on Schippingerstrasse in the north of Graz.

“Due to the completely different product range from our existing Mercedes-Benz and smart brands, Kia products are an excellent addition to our partner network in the Styrian capital,” explains Ing Wolfgang Prischnig, Managing Director of Pappas Steiermark. “The location at the northern gateway to Graz is an important addition to our partner network in the Styrian capital,” notes Barbara Knirsch, Channel Manager Kia Austria.

For Pappas, the Kia brand is not entirely new territory, as the company can draw on years of experience as Kia’s retail and service partner in Hungary.

When it comes to competition, Pappas’ commitment to Kia in Graz can be seen as quiet. This move was expected, says Heinz P. Robinson, partner of Autohaus Robinson, which has been offering the Korean brand in the Styrian capital for a long time.

Kia has more than 70 sales and service centers across Austria, with a further 33 service-only businesses.
