Body of Man Missing From Waters of Biscayne Bay – NBC 6 South Florida

The remains of a man have been discovered in the waters of Biscayne Bay, Miami-Dade Police said Thursday.

Police responded to a report of a body in the bay on Wednesday afternoon, and a subsequent examination revealed that the body belonged to an adult male, according to a Miami-Dade Police Department statement.

The man’s identity has not been determined, and the cause of death is still being investigated, the statement said.

The Miami-Dade Police Marine Patrol Unit and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue personnel responded to the call and recovered the body, which was found in the vicinity of Nixon Beach.

The investigation remains active and ongoing, and further details are not yet available.
