GMC Teases 2025 Terrain – Kelley Blue Book

GMC’s Terrain compact SUV is known for a spacious cabin and a quiet and comfortable ride. But it was last redesigned in 2018. Our expert test driver praises its user-friendly technology but says it’s “been a tough sell against newer and more refined models like the Honda CR-V, Mazda CX-50, and several others. “

It shares many of its parts with the Chevrolet Equinox. So when the SUV received a full facelift earlier this year, we knew a new Terrain was coming.

GMC has confirmed our suspicions with a teaser image showing the all-new 2025 Terrain.

The photo doesn’t reveal much, except that some photographer in GM’s public relations department likes to show half of the grille. It’s almost the same image that GMC used to tease the all-new Yukon last week.

It features a large grill, C-bracket daytime running lights, and heavy design themes on busy curves like many of GM’s current SUVs. We expect tough looks, an open-feeling cabin, and a new chassis with a 1.5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine like the current model. That’s the basic overview of the Equinox update, and the two models tend to track very closely.

GMC promises “a bolder, more assertive design.” We may experience a bit of waiting-to-know-more, though. The company promises to unveil the Terrain “later this year.” We will bring the details as they arise.
