CUPRA Tavascan in VZ and Endurance versions. Which one to choose?

The CUPRA Tavascan is the Barcelona brand’s first fully electric SUV Coupé. The latest model will be available in two equipment versions – Tavascan Endurance and VZ, and will go on sale in the second half of 2024.

Another completely electric – next to the CUPRA Birth model – the car of the Barcelona brand, that is, the Tavascan, is an eye-catching SUV Coupé, which debuted in 2023.

With a 77 kWh lithium-ion battery, the CUPRA Tavascan Endurance offers a WLTP electric range of up to 547 km. The car has rear-wheel drive with a maximum torque of 545 Nm and an engine power of 210 kW (286 HP). The car is able to accelerate from 0 to 50 km / h in 3 seconds, and accelerate from 0-100 km / h in 6.8 seconds. The maximum speed of this version of Tavascan is 180 km / h. This five-seater model from the Barcelona brand offers a trunk capacity of 540 liters. The length of the car is 4,644 m, the width is 1,861 m and the height is 1,597 m.

As with other CUPRA models, the abbreviation VZ in the CUPRA Tavascan stands for the Spanish word Veloz, meaning speed. In this version, the maximum power of the engine has changed. The Tavascan VZ delivers 250 kW (340 HP), accelerating from 0 to 50 km/h in just 2.4 seconds, and from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.6 seconds WLTP also passed, which in the case of the CUPRA Tavascana VZ, reaches up to 517 km. The car has two 4WD engines and maximum torque is from 134 to 545 Nm.

– With a range of more than 500 km, the CUPRA Tavascan, in the Endurance and VZ versions, will perform well on long journeys. Additionally, both variants feature Dark Night mini bucket seats and a 12-speaker SENNHEISER® sound system, which provides a more unique driving experience. However, on the outside we will see the highlighted brand logo, which has already become the main distinguishing feature of Tavascana – emphasizes Katarzyna Dziomdziora, PR manager of the SEAT and CUPRA brands.
