Anderson Dubose is hiring in Lordstown, Ohio

LORDSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A Lordstown company specializes in restaurant reservations. It has equipment stacked from floor to ceiling and needs workers to help move it.

Anderson-DuBose is always busy. Pulls millions of restaurant supply cases from the warehouse area and places them in a designated area to be loaded onto trucks.
Anderson-DuBose is hiring drivers to deliver supplies.

“So, they’re going to McDonald’s and Chipotle restaurants and they’re basically redistributing it. So they’re taking care of them from a customer service standpoint, and we’re also making sure they’re safe and they’re taking care of the orders,” Paul Hammond, director of operations.

The company wants drivers with a CDL Class A license, a safe driving record and one year of experience. Most of Anderson-DuBose’s 86 drivers are on reversible routes – out and back in one day.

“It’s just as much a driving job as a customer service job, and a material handling job as well because they’re handling products,” said Linsey Gray, human resources manager.

Anderson-DuBose also has an on-site oil, maintenance and car wash facility. If you want to get a CDL, the company can easily help you.

“But we also train from within. We have a warehouse program for drivers that helps them train and get some qualifications, which is a fully paid company,” Hammond said.

Anderson-DuBose has been in Lordstown since 2012. The trucks deliver equipment throughout Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and New York. It is committed to helping its partners and customers succeed.

“You know, we have a lot of drivers that have been here over 30 years. They love it. They love their customers and their customers love them,” Gray said.

And I think that team concept is what drives us in the service industry as well as taking care of our customers in many ways,” Hammond said.

Anderson-DuBose is also building a distribution center in Jacksonville, Florida. That should open next year.
