2025 Chevrolet Trailblazer will debut in Brazil

Recently, Chevrolet launched the latest version of the Colorado. No, we’re not talking about the North American version. We refer to the one launched in Brazil. So, why are we bringing it up again?

That’s because its SUV counterpart, the Chevrolet Trailblazer, is also receiving a major facelift for the 2025 model year. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the debut comes about a week after the new Colorado made its debut.

Remember, this is not a brand new trend. Like the Colorado of South America, the 2025 Trailblazer is more natural. So, many changes are ahead. The SUV still rides on the same frame as the 2013 model and the previous generation Isuzu Mu-X. This time, it gets the same front end as its counterpart, getting cues from North American models like the US version of the Colorado and a few hints of the Tahoe.

As for the rest of the body, it is carried over from the previous facelift versions. As far as we can tell, the door skins are the same, along with the quarter panels. The rear end is the same as before, although the tail lights have different light fittings.

It’s inside where the ultimate refresher makes its presence felt. There is a big one 11 inch screen which sits proudly in the middle, and the entire dash has been replaced. It also receives a new instrument cluster, now completely digital. Also new for the 2025 model year is the center console and steering wheel.

Like the Colorado, the company claims several chassis improvements for the new Chevrolet Trailblazer. Better transport is expected, along with enhanced optimization.

Moving on to the engine, no official power and torque figures have been listed yet. However, given that it shares the same engine as the Colorado, it will likely be an updated version of the 2.8-liter Duramax turbodiesel. It’s making it now 207 hp and 510Nm of torque, up by 7hp and 10Nm. A new transmission is also expected, an eight-speed automatic.
