“HOME SWEET HOME” ON WHEELS

“Van life” has become a true social phenomenon that allows everyone to experience travel and different adventures. Clients enjoy the great freedom offered by a “mobile home” that provides comfortable and convenient accommodation and wakes up in the heart of nature.

To meet these market expectations, the Citroën brand, with extensive experience in spacious, functional models, has partnered with the convertible market leader Bravia Mobil to launch the new Citroën Holiday.

Derived from the Spacetourer, this camper stays true to Citroën’s philosophy of promoting well-being on board. For maximum convenience, the Citroën Holiday will be available to order direct from the Citroën dealer network from spring 2024.

Thoughtfully thought out down to the smallest detail, Holiday allows great freedom in travel and is a soft cocoon that accompanies customers according to their wishes, allowing them to find special experiences in unexpected places.

The flexible roof, available in the color of the car, provides greater freedom of movement. It allows you to stand inside and therefore provides a total of space for up to four beds, two of which are on the roof. The second row bench seat, which can accommodate two people, can be extended and folded to create a sleeping space of 1.15 m wide and 1.90 m long. The bench seat can be removed if more space is needed.

On the roof there is a bed with a width of 1.20 m and a height of 1.95 m. People sleeping in the lower part can enjoy the rear window that opens to sleep outside and be closer to nature, as well as cover the interior with roller blinds in front. and side windows. The pitched roof also has integrated blinds and windows to control ventilation and lighting.

A kitchen with a sink and two gas burners, a 16 liter fridge and an extendable table allows for indoor dining for four thanks to the front seats that swivel into the living room. Two side sliding doors (optional electric) also allow cooking and eating outside on sunny days, and a pull-out table can be placed behind the kitchen. And if the sun gets too hot, the new Citroën Holiday is equipped with side panels on both sides that allow the installation of a roller roof (as an accessory). The kitchen can be dismantled so you can cook outside.

The interior is all functional and practical down to the smallest detail. The table can be used for eating, working or playing, and can also be folded to create more space. Citroen Holiday also has many storage compartments, thanks to which you can keep the interior clean. It has a tank with a capacity of 10 liters of fresh water and 10 liters of waste water. The camper also provides a shower in the back of the vehicle connected to a 25 liter tank. The vehicle may also have removable toilets.

Citroën Holidays offers a programmable Webasto heating system that ensures an adequate temperature on board. Indoor lighting and ventilation can be easily controlled using the internal control panel.

The enclosure has a 230V charging socket outside and a 230V outlet, as well as 2 USB-A and USB-C ports inside. It also has a wireless smartphone charging station, which is very handy in the center console. It is also possible to install a solar panel on the roof of the car.

FOR DAILY TRIPS AND GREAT EVENTS

Another advantage of the new Citroën Holiday is its versatility. Designed with events in mind, it also proves to be very practical in everyday life.

Its compact length of 4.98 m ensures great agility and easy handling. This quality is enhanced by the Spacetourer’s new electric power steering, which replaces the electro-hydraulic system, reducing effort and improving maneuverability. Its compact height also allows easy parking, and its height of 1.99 m allows access to many parking spaces and is also suitable for road tolls in many countries.

The overhead reversing camera makes the driver’s life easier when parking. The kitchen and toilets can be removed, making the Holiday a suitable vehicle for everyday use, with the ability to carry four people and a lot of stuff.

The Citroën Holiday, which will have N1 homologation, will be available with two diesel engines: BlueHDi 145 with a 6-speed manual gearbox and BlueHDi 180 with an 8-speed automatic gearbox. These two powerful and efficient engines allow the car to cover long distances and explore new areas without limit.
