22. April 2024, Gaydon: Since its launch in 2022, the Aston Martin DBX707 defined itself as the best sports car among SUVs. With its unique combination of great performance, exceptional dynamics, exceptional style and pure luxury, it is at the top of its segment. And because the award-winning DBX707 is so sought-after and loved, with its unique capabilities, it will be the only SUV in the British luxury and high-performance range of the future.

The most significant change to the new DBX707 is a major upgrade to the interior. These include the introduction of an advanced Aston Martin system, an advanced infotainment system as well as an impressive new cabin design. These extensive improvements reflect the use of craftsmanship and a willingness to innovate. They combine design and luxury with an impressive array of connected car technologies.

“With best-in-class performance and dynamics, first-class design and high levels of luxury, the DBX707 has instantly set a new benchmark for premium SUVs,” says Amedeo Felisa, CEO of Aston Martin. “Now we’ve given it the latest technology and an all-new interior so it can keep pace and set the bar higher than all its competitors.”

Along with the detailed interior design, the DBX707 now receives Aston Martin’s next-generation infotainment system. This fully optimized, fully integrated multi-screen system offers wireless Apple CarPlay, front and rear USB-C ports and full internet connectivity supported by Aston Martin’s client software.

All important information is displayed on screens with the best black touch screen technology including single and multi-finger gesture control. The driver’s main instrument is a 12-inch screen – 1.5 inches wider than the DB12 and Vantage. A second central 10.25-inch infotainment screen is integrated into the new dashboard and center console.

The DBX707 offers the perfect balance between touch screen input capabilities and the great feel of physical switches. It has buttons for the most important technical functions such as gear selection, drive selection, heating and ventilation. This continues Aston Martin’s philosophy of creating a perfect blend of digital and analogue controls. There are also buttons for direct access to suspension, ESP and exhaust, lane departure warning and parking assist, so frequently used controls are always close at hand.

Apart from incorporating Aston Martin’s next-generation infotainment system, the DBX707 also showcases a new interior. This represents the latest evolution of Aston Martin’s bold new design, which debuted in the DB12 and Vantage. Clean, modern lines exude confidence and quality and create a wonderful sense of space and connection An attractive horizontal line separates the upper part of the new dashboard from the lower one.

This strong linear motif reduces the overall height of the interior, with increased use of alternating chrome materials along with textured veins and a simplified center console to enhance the sense of quality. At the same time, they create a perfect balance between the feeling of a sports car and modern luxury.

Every area of the interior has been improved, from the new steering wheel to the redesigned bar door handles to the elegant vertical air vents, which now match the interior trim in bright or dark chrome. The new veneer panels in the front doors are larger and available in a variety of new materials, including glossy oak, gloss titanium fabric and revised variants of Ziricote wood, piano black or carbon fiber veneer.

There are three different interior trims to choose from, each with its own unique details: Inspire Comfort with matrix embroidery and embroidery, Inspire Sport with vector embroidery and Accelerate with Alcantara for an even sportier touch. Additional details come in the form of small piping and satin embroidery. In addition, Aston Martin offers a variety of customization options with its tailor-made service Q by Aston Martin.

The DBX707 now comes standard with an Aston Martin Premium Audio 800-watt, 14-speaker sound system. Built with state-of-the-art hardware, the system features a surround sound mode with QuantumLogic® surround sound processing for a perfect sound experience .

However, true audiophiles will love the optional system developed by Aston Martin’s audio partner Bowers & Wilkins. Sound-engineered to match the DBX707’s internal sound and form, this unique system utilizes the technology and innovation found in Bowers & Wilkins’ world-class loudspeakers. Aluminum-dome tweeters and Continuum® midrange drivers give this 23-speaker, dual-amplified, 1,600-watt sound system balanced and accurate sound. Dedicated 3D speakers, woofers and a powerful subwoofer ensure a powerful sound experience that reflects the characteristics of the DBX707 itself.

DBX707, the latest model to wear the new Aston Martin Wings, has several changes to the exterior details. These include five new colors: Epsilon Black (black), Helios Yellow (yellow), Sprint Green (green), Malachite Green (green) and Aura Green (green). There is also a new Podium Green color, previously only available for the DBX707 AMR23 Edition. There are also two new wheel finishes: Satin Black for the 23-inch Fortis wheel and Bronze Bronze for the 23-inch Forged wheel. The design of the 22-inch Sport, 23-inch Fortis and 23-inch Forged rims remains unchanged, with Silver, Gloss Black, Textured Black, Satin Black and Satin Black Diamond Tuned finishes also available on custom wheels.

Other noticeable changes include new “presenting” door handles, which come out of the body when the car is opened, as well as new glass door mirrors, which disappear and rotate. The new mirror design has been driven by the introduction of the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) and improved features, fully integrated to support the 3D parking camera functionality.

Unlike the old design, in which the adjustable glass moved inside the fixed outer shell, with the new solution the entire glass unit including the trim rotates when the adjustment is made. The edge-to-edge water-reflecting glass design allows for better camera alignment and also maximizes the reflective surface for a larger field of view.

This comprehensive package of changes is supported by the impressive motor technology that the DBX707 is known for. The main actor is a 707 hp and 900 Newton meter four-liter V8 with twin turbochargers and a nine-speed automatic transmission with a wet clutch. Combined with a modern all-wheel drive that transfers up to 100 percent of the torque to the rear axle when necessary, the DBX707 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.1 seconds and reaches a top speed of 310 km/h. Stopping power is delivered by 420 mm front and 390 mm rear brakes made of carbon ceramic. The DBX707 comes standard with 22-inch wheels; 23-inch alloy or forged wheels are optionally available.

Aston Martin engineers have further refined the class-leading dynamics of the DBX707. The search for continuous improvement led to new modifications of electric shock absorbers and air springs. With the resulting improvement in response, precision and driver confidence, the DBX707 further extends its dynamic excellence in its class as the best sports car among SUVs.

Production of the new DBX707 is scheduled to begin in the second quarter of 2024; The first delivery is scheduled shortly thereafter.
