Bugatti unveils the stunning Chiron Pur Sport in blue carbon!

Bugatti has lifted the curtain on its latest creation, the Chiron Pur Sport offered to a wealthy customer. This example, one of 60 originally planned, is dressed in sky blue and has blue carbon fiber! Once again, the brand pays homage to the legendary racing driver through this setup.

As the Bugatti Chiron prepares to give way to its replacement, which will also be revealed in June, the Alsatian brand continues to release the final examples of its hypercar. A few days ago, the customer was happy to receive his new Chiron Pur Sport, which Bugatti did not fail to show on its networks.

This Chiron Pur Sport is dressed in Wimille Blue. Do not look in the color chart, this color was created specifically for this model. It features the paint that covered the car of Jean-Pierre Wimille, winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1937, at the wheel of the Bugatti Type 57G. Therefore the livery has a large area of sky blue, in contrast to a narrow strip of navy blue.

Colored carbon fiber, really?

Without going too far, we can still consider that carbon fiber is reserved for certain types of vehicles. It is not for nothing that we do not see them in Renault Clio or Audi A1. Showing carbon in bodywork already requires a level of standing. But when, at the peak of isolation, this carbon fiber is painted, here in blue, we reach new heights in terms of luxury.

In the rear position, we find the essential W16 8.0 with 4 turbos, developing 1,500 horses with 1,600 Nm of torque. It is enough to grind 0 to 100 km/h in 2.3 seconds, 0 to 200 in 5.5 seconds and 0 to 300 in 12 seconds.

The interior has not been revealed, but knowing Bugatti, it must match the bodywork thanks to the upholstery and exterior color reminders. The brand has not announced the price of this model but, as a reminder, the Pur Sport starts around 3 million euros.
