The next Bugatti, with an electric V16, will be revealed in June

The next chapter in the story of Bugatti will be very different from the previous ones, the last page which was written by W16 Mistral in a limited edition.

Today, eight years to the day after the presentation of ChironThe French manufacturer is announcing a new generation of supercars that will be launched in June.

As we know since Bugatti came under the control of a small Croatian manufacturer Rimac, the power supply will be highlighted. Now we learn that a V16 hybrid engine will be at the center of the equation. Want an audio preview? Watch the video:

“Incomparable in every detail: an embodiment of Bugatti’s DNA, designed not just for the present or the future, but for eternity,” writes Bugatti on its website.

We remember that Cadillac already used the V16 in the 1930s and that BMW tried this type of engine in the 1990s. Obviously, it will be very different here. Besides, “if it’s comparable, it’s no longer a Bugatti,” the manufacturer reminds us.

No additional specifications or details have been released at this time. We can still expect power that will surpass the 1,577 horsepower that Bugatti is used to. See you in June to find out and see everything!
