Many manufacturers that only offer sports cars decided to expand their model range after some time. SUV launches usually significantly improve the bottom line.

This has already happened with Porsche and Lamborghini, among others. In some cases, this was the only salvation from closing the business.

You probably expect a similar move to be ordered by the Bugatti authorities soon. However, this will not happen, as officially confirmed by Mate Rimac, CEO of Bugatti Rimac.

The company already has a development plan for the next 10 years, and it says nothing about the Bugatti SUV. The situation is the same with a fully electric car.

The Chiron’s successor will not be powered by the 8.0 W16 power unit. This engine will be seen for the last time in the Bugatti W16 Mistral, which recently debuted in Monterey.

In the case of another Bugatti car, we can count on a small combustion engine. It will, of course, be assisted by electrical units to ensure sufficient capacity.
