During Milan Design Week, from April 15 to 21, the Luxury Lifestyle Group and Bugatti reveal a new evolution of their design philosophy with an exclusive show in the gardens of Palazzo Chiesa, located on Corso Venezia. The show further develops the house collection’s partnership with the iconic sports car brand founded in 1909, adopting an approach that emphasizes high craftsmanship, simple elegance as well as meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to perfection.

The 2024 collection is beautiful in a quiet garden and inside a mysterious installation, inspired by the original glass house of Ettore Bugatti’s Orangerie in Molsheim, Alsace. More than ever, this latest collection highlights the exclusivity of Bugatti’s super sports cars, celebrating the unparalleled artistry of their shapes and forms. The contrast of sandblasted aluminum against raw, open-pore oak celebrates the natural purity of the material while championing authenticity as it does in Bugatti’s car design; if something looks like titanium or wood or carbon fiber, then it must be.

Some of the most interesting pieces of the new Bugatti Home collection are also exhibited by Sahrai Milano – a renowned house for carpet and textile design – in Via Manzoni 38. The new collection – using only the best quality materials, including European exposed oak, glass, metal elements and metallic lacquer – embodies a timeless sophistication. Combining natural materials with the most technological ones, together with transparency and durability, creates unique differences. The use of large pieces of glass, a sign of lightness and purity, together with the strongest industrial materials, emphasizes the lines and shapes of the product, some of them inspired by the famous Bugatti “C-line”. The most valuable option. natural fabrics, such as cashmere, cotton and silk, as well as leather, also add material to the new pieces of the collection.

The new Type_1 modular sofa, love seat, and chaise longue reveal the bold transformation of the classic Bugatti “C-Line” into a completely new design. The juxtaposition of the leather-wrapped design against the sleek, spacious seating area creates a striking contrast of contrasting elements that echo Bugatti’s beauty-and-the-beast philosophy for its super sports cars.

The beauty and elegance of the design is at the base of the TYPE_4 dining table, with a glass top supported by two chrome aluminum legs, each uniquely curved and joined by a curved glass insert. The design shows an open framework, a hallmark of all new Bugatti Home pieces; complete appearance of materials and design nuances. Surrounding the dining table, the TYPE_5 chairs embody the values ​​of automotive-inspired design with their elegant, curved frames made of carbon fiber and hand-painted with aluminum liquid metal.

This innovative use of design to create a sense of cleanliness and lightness is also used to great effect in the TYPE_7 desk, with a folding trick on one side to create its structure, and the integrated drawer unit raised from the floor, making it almost invisible. .

The TYPE_3 sofa offers superior comfort and an attractive aesthetic, including long curves reminiscent of the elegance of the 1970s, enhanced with Bugatti’s signature: metal labels displaying the Bugatti laser logo in ‘Bugatti Blue’ image. Throne chairs, chaise longue, and ottoman variants are also available.
