Chery introduces the new high-performance NEV E0X platform

The parent company Chery Automobile has introduced a new high-performance NEV (New Electric Vehicle) E0X system for new car brands Omoda, Jaecoo and Exlantix.

According to Chery, it is intended to set new standards in 5 dimensions of “space”, “intelligent cabin”, “intelligent driving”, “energy consumption” and “safety”. The “E” in E0X stands for “Electricity”. and represents Chery’s commitment, expanding into the field of new energy and determination to develop and promote innovation. “0” represents a new technical beginning, the beginning of a journey in the advanced NEV sector with the aim of developing sustainable and green solutions “X” symbolizes the endless possibilities of platform expansion, which represents A to Cover part C of SD/SUV/MPV models with five, six and seven variants. Based on the E0X system, 24 PHEV models and 15 advanced battery electric vehicles (BEV) are expected to be built over the next two years.
