News: Volvo EX30 wins Red Dot Design Award 2024

The Volvo EX30 has a long wheelbase, large wheels and similar overhangs that bring balance and refinement to the exterior. The use of natural and recycled materials in the car is a step towards Volvo’s sustainability goals. In addition, Volvo has used the space inside the electric car and created a central theme for everything from storage space to controls and screens, resulting in a flexible space with proportional proportions.

“The Volvo EX30 embodies the design values of Volvo Cars in a compact form factor and is an example of Scandinavian design excellence where form follows function,” says Jim Rowan, CEO of Volvo Cars. “The EX30 has the lowest CO2 emissions of any fully electric Volvo to date and is designed to be as safe as you’d expect from a Volvo. It is packed with advanced technology and is a perfect fit in today’s market where more and more car buyers are switching to electric vehicles.”Rowan continues.

The Volvo EX30 was launched last summer and has already won more than 20 awards, including the Car Design 2024 award, established in 1984 by design magazine. It has also been awarded The Sun Car of the Year, the Small SUV/Crossover of the Year Award from the Sunday Times and the Eco Warrior of the Year award from Top Gear magazine.
